Illinois Man Road-Testing Friend’s New Camaro Drives it Into The Rock River

Are you planning on getting a new car anytime soon?

If you're a really good friend and one of your best buddies asks you to take it for a spin, without hesitation, you'd probably say "sure, but just a trip around the block, OK?"

No, not OK. Don't; just don't let any friend, under any circumstance, take your brand new car for a test-drive, especially if it's a sports car.

If you do, you could end up like this poor guy from Moline. According to WQAD, the guy, who probably chose to remain anonymous out of embarrassment, let his buddy take Chevy Camaro for a road-test and he ended up losing control of the car and drove it into the Rock River.

The car was totaled and both friends were able to safely swim out of the sinking car.
