Illinois State Rep Accused of Catfishing Men With Revenge Porn

A lot of people don't know this about me, but two years ago, my identity was stolen and someone very close to me manipulated that person to pose as me for an undetermined amount of time.

It's still unknown just how much damage this person has done, but this is why it disgusts me when I see stories like this one shared on Politico.com. 

The political journalism company says that Representative Nick Sauer, who was seeking re-election in his legislative district, that covers nearby North Barrington BTW, has been accused of posting nude photos of his ex-girlfriend on a fake Instagram account and was pretending to be her.

Sauer's ex-girlfriend, Kate Kelly claims that the account was used as a means to get revenge for breaking up with him after she found out he was being unfaithful and her photos were used to catfish other men and engage in explicit conversations about sex and her personal life via direct message.

Seriously, what is it with Illinois politicians and their bad behavior?

There's currently an active investigation with the Chicago Police Department and Governor Bruce Rauner suggested that Sauer resign; which we hear is what he plans on doing.

As of right now, no charges have been filed against Sauer.
