One Chicago suburb is working to ban the sale of tobacco.

NBC Chicago is reporting that Elk Grove Village is working to ban the sale of tobacco.

The ban will be decided sometime this December, but it's facing a lot of criticism.

While those who are supporting the ban, they're focusing on health issues for the community, but there are many who are opposing the ban.

Those who oppose say it's bad for business. Not selling tobacco in Elk Grove won't make anyone stop smoking, but they will just have to go to the towns next door to get their fix.
