Illinois Woman’s Horrific Highway Encounter Ends up Being a Sick Prank

It's late at night, you've had a long day and you're very tired; you just picked up your daughter from a friends place and you're heading home. While you share anecdotes from your day, you give a quiet yawn and quickly rub your eyes like a toddler does when they can barely keep their eyes open any longer...and the second you get your eyes back on the road you see something; you're not quite sure what it is but as you get a little bit closer it looks like two motionless bodies on the side of the road. What do you do? Keep driving? Call the police? Get out and investigate?

That's exactly what one woman did as she was driving down a dark road in West Quincy, Illinois. According to WGN, Jordan Law saw what looked like two bodies lying by the side of the road. She called 911 and then got out to try and help and what happened next was like something out of a horror movie: they bodies started move, got up and ran towards her.

After talking with dispatchers she rushed home to share her terrifying ordeal on Facebook:

According to KHQA, one of the boys on the side of that road saw her post on Facebook and reached out to her to let her know that they were "playing dead" and were just trying to scare people.

Whoa. Talk about a close call. Thankfully this turned out to be a sick prank and no one got hurt, and hopefully the kids will learn something from this as well. They could've been ran over, or who knows what else, there's a lot of crazies out there.
