Halloween is here, and while there isn't anything new that is exactly a horror flick, there are a couple of new thrillers that might scare up audiences. I review both of them in only seven seconds.

Jake Gyllenhaal creeps around in Nightcrawler and Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth try to keep us awake with Before I Go to Sleep.

NIGHTCRAWLER

Rated 'R', 117 minutes

What I think it's about: Gyllenhaal ends up at crime scenes before police. He then videotapes the scene, and suspicion arises regarding his role in the crimes he is taping.

BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP

Rated 'R', 92 minutes

What I think it's about: Kidman's character has amnesia as the result of an accident or something along those lines. She never remembers anything after she wakes up from sleeping. I guess its 50 First Dates without the comedy.
