‘Incorrect’ Rockford Weather Report Shows Lake Geneva In Winter Heatwave

If you believe this Rockford meteorologist, it was "shorts weather" today in Lake Geneva.

Relax, it's totally not but what accidentally showed up today when WREX's Morgan Kolkmeyer gave people in Lake Geneva hope that summer started early.

The map behind Kolkmeyer showed Lake Geneva having record high temperatures for January 13.

Kolkmeyer quickly took to Twitter to share a picture of the incident saying "Ok Lake Geneva, now you're just being mean."

Considering how crazy the weather has been in Illinois the last month or so, would anyone be surprised right now if Lake Geneva actually was 99 degrees?
