Being sick is just awful, the sneezing, the coughing, running to the bathroom, deciding if you're too sick to work, showing up at work and getting dirty looks for being there.

It's tough!

Which is why you want to be careful you don't catch this 'extremely contagious' stomach virus going around Illinois.

WAND TV in Quincy, IL is reporting this virus began a couple of weeks ago and includes nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and a fever.

The plus side, it only lasts one or two days, but the obvious negative side is it's so contagious that if you get it, your entire family probably will too, which means that one to two days could stretch weeks in your household.

Bottom line. Wash your hands. Make your kids wash their hands. And when they tell you they already did, make them wash them again.
