I Indulged In The Second Season Of Orange Is The New Black In Three Days!

My husband and little one were gone over the weekend on a boys trip to the In-Laws, so it gave me plenty of time to watch OITNB! I totally binged, knowing I may not be able to watch it for awhile. 

I'm so glad that I had the time to watch it! Season two was just as killer as season one, but with this season, I did find myself a bit bored. Especially when it came to the back stories. Now, don't get me wrong, I love the life stories of these inmates, but I think they concentrated on the wrong girls. Vee's story was just not interesting to me, and it seemed that it took up a lot of time. It's hard to follow a story line on a character that isn't liked. And did we really need to be so concentrated on the inmate with cancer? I just found her story boring. Sadly she's dying, but I found myself bored with the episodes that were primarily about her.

Also, I'm finding myself not liking Piper very well. In the first season, I totally loved her and I couldn't get enough. This season however, I either found her annoying, or just plain boring. I did like the past story on her and Alex, but I wanted more, and I just didn't get it.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this show! I hope it doesn't take a year to get another season out, because I can't imagine being without it for that long! I do know season 3 is a go, according to online sources, so at least I have something to look forward too!
