She can’t stop, won’t stop changing up her hair: Katy Perry got a dramatic new hairdo on Thursday (March 2), which she shared on Instagram via two videos.

After dyeing her typically jet black locks to platinum blonde earlier this year, the “Chained to the Rhythm” singer revealed that she’s not chained to her length by chopping off nearly all her hair, settling for a choppy, punky pixie cut.

In the comments of her two clips, however, many followers pointing out the similarities between her new coif and that of fellow pop star Miley Cyrus‘ signature Bangerz-era platinum pixie, with one fan writing, “I love u katy but babe get your own look that’s miley’s look.”

“Looking good, Miley,” posted another sarcastic user.

Then again, it’s not like Cyrus actually invented (or was even the first person to make famous) the messy blonde pixie cut: Annie Lennox, Michelle Williams, Sharon Stone and Madonna all rocked the look way before the former Hannah Montana star started riding wrecking balls.
