Lanes to Temporarily Close on Spring Creek in Rockford

The City of Rockford has announced the temporary closure of two eastbound lanes and half of the center lane of Spring Creek Road starting 8 a.m. Wednesday.

According to a press release, the city's forestry division will be working in the area of the 4600 block of Spring Creek, just east of Alpine Road.

Work is expected to be completed by the end of the day. Drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route due to slowed traffic flow.
