Last Weekend To Enjoy Rockford’s Snow Park at Alpine Hills

We may not have snow on the ground in our yards, but the Snow Park at Alpine Hills does...for one more weekend.

The Rockford Park District announced this week that this Friday, March 2 through Sunday, March 4 will be the final weekend the park will be open this winter.

If your family hasn't been to the Snow Park yet this year for snowboarding or tubing fun, you better high-tail-it there this weekend. The hours of operation this Friday through Sunday will be:

• Friday, March 2 - 5 to 8 p.m.
• Saturday, March 3 and Sunday, March 4 - 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

Admission to the Snow Park at Alpine Hills is $10 for resident adults ($13 for non-residents) and $5 ($7 non-resident) for small children who can ride on laps.

If you need just a little more to entice you to go for the final weekend of operation, all food and drinks at the Snow Park will be half price Friday through Sunday, (while supplies last), according to the park's Facebook page.
