Local Hospital Gets Help from a T-Rex for Breast Cancer Awareness Video Contest

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is just a couple of weeks away and planning for our annual Pink Party and Bra Auction, brought to you by Rock Valley Credit Union, has officially begun. Will we see you there?

Get ready for the ultimate girls night out with hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, dancing with our very own Steve Shannon and of course, smokin' hot fire fighters in what I like to call a BRAshion show.

You know who else I hope shows up for the fun? The incredible staff, beautiful survivors and tyrannosaurus sex from the OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center who put together this adorable music video.

According to WREX, OSF put together this music video for the latest Pink Glove Dance Contest, the only breast cancer prevention campaign that brings "healthcare professionals, survivors, patients and communities to honor those who have been affected by the disease and raise money for a cure. And, they do it by dancing and wearing pink exam gloves."

The grand prize is $10,000 which will be donated to a charity of OSF's choice that supports breast cancer awareness, and the best part is, you can help them win; just place your vote here. You only have until Friday.
