Magpie Finds New Downtown Rockford Home After Being Damaged in the Hanley Building Fire
We've been missing a delicious Rockford breakfast spot for a few months, but it looks like we will be able to enjoy Magpie again soon.
Over the summer, downtown Rockford had a huge fire in the old Hanley Furniture building.
The building went up in flames and was torn down quickly after that, but that wasn't the only building effected by the fire.
One of those other businesses is Magpie, a downtown breakfast spot that was becoming very popular before the fire.
According to the Rockford Register Star, Magpie will be reopening in a new location downtown.
While the owners were not able to release the exact location, this RR Star article sounds very positive and promising, and I for one, can't wait to hear where and when we will be able to visit Magpie.
