Man Fakes Death to Avoid Getting Married

Calling off your wedding by facing your bride-to-be has got to be difficult, calling off your wedding by pretending you died is a little bit easier.That's exactly what Tucker Blanford decided to do.

Tucker was engaged to marry Alex Lanchester. A few months before they were supposed to get married, Alex got a call from Tucker's dad (or who she thought was Tucker's dad) and he told her that Tucker was killed in a car accident.

Alex was obviously shocked and took some time to take in the news. Then, she called Tucker's parents (back?) to tell them she was so sorry for what happened. They had no idea what she was talking about, saying that Tucker was very much alive.

You think that's a shocker? How about the fact that Tucker's parents had no idea he was even engaged!
