Man Running From Cops Joins Chicago Marathon

The Chicago Marathon was this past weekend and while thousands of runners took part in the annual run through Chicago, one of them was a bit out of place.

Bryan Duffy, 29 is currently being held in Cook County Jail for taking a run through the marathon.

Police say they spotted Duffy going through potted plants alongside the Chicago Marathon route.

When Chicago police closed in, Duffy took off and immediately joined the race.

Duffy was taken down by police soon after. Reports say Duffy was carrying ecstasy and a load of cash. He was arrested for the drugs, reckless conduct and endangering the other runners.

Completely unreported and made up, Duffy's mile split time was a meager 11:32.
