Meet the Cast of Lifetime’s ‘Saved By The Bell’ Movie

Lifetime is making an unauthorized movie of what really went on behind the scenes of "Saved By The Bell," and the entire country is excited. So excited, we just can't hide it.

The movie is based on a book Dustin Diamond (Screech) wrote in 2009. According to "Behind the Bell," there was a lot going on in the halls of Bayside when the cameras were off.

I don't care if this stuff is true or just Screech's imagination, I'm writing September 1 on my calendar right now and setting my DVR as soon as it's physically possible.

Six relatively unknown actors have been cast to play Zack, Kelly, Jessie, Slater, Lisa and Screech and I think all of us brunette ladies born in the 70s and 80s can say we are beyond jealous of Alyssa Lynch, the new Kelly Kawopski.
