Maroon 5's new album "V," comes out this September and we've already got a listen to their first single, "Maps." You know you know this one. "Following, following, following," it's catchy.

But it's not really about geography.

I can't separate the singer from the song. Whenever I hear Adam Levine sing I think it's personal.

Maybe this means he's a great actor, or maybe it's just because we know so much about his love life. Either way, I didn't know he was so desperate until I started thinking about the words in "Maps."

Dude, I don't think she wants you to find her.

The video for "Maps" is way more intense than my explanation, but I still think he's desperate, and that the lyrics should match the title.

I also still can not stop singing the hook.
