You're gonna need your feet even after your bridesmaid duties are over.

So protect them, by bringing flip flops to the wedding. Sure it'll look tacky when you're dancing around in a fancy bridesmaid dress and you have $1 flip fops from Old Navy on,  but let's be serious, by the time you trade in your shoes for your flops, you're gonna look tacky anyway... with two drinks in hand and sweaty dance hair.

Even if you're a more laid back bridesmaid, you still want a change of shoes. High heels are painful, and maybe this bride was very specific about what shoes she wanted you guys to wear, that probably means they're very uncomfortable. Once the dancing starts, you can relieve your toes.

Pack the flops. Even if you don't need them, even if you accidentally leave them at the venue, it's ok, you want to them to be there to protect your feet.

Unless you'd like this to happen to you.

And guys, that's only the half of the injury that's recovered.
