A big change is coming to Milwaukee in 2020, bringing an end of an era to "Miller Park."

Everything is about business and making money and the phrase "that's how it's always been" won't apply to Milwaukee's professional baseball stadium. Miller Park will lose naming rights to the home of the Brewers in 2020 to a Madison-based insurance company. According to WTMJ, American Family Insurance will have its name on the ballpark as well as other venues in Milwaukee, too.

Madison-based American Family Insurance has also recently bought the naming rights to the main amphitheater at the Summerfest Grounds.

The article goes on to explain the implications of the name change include the possibility of renaming the freeway near Miller Park.

The move may prompt numerous related changes, one of which could include the north-south freeway which borders Miller Park. It is currently called Miller Park Way.

The ballpark has only been known as Miller Park (a.k.a. Wrigley North) for 19 years and isn't a big deal as it would be if Wrigley Field in Chicago were renamed.

WTMJ reports Milwaukee Brewers have announced a press conference for Tuesday (January 22nd) at 2 pm.
