Oh, the travesty. The weather was nice everyday that week so a toddler went outside to play and the neighbor isn't having any of it.

At some point in life, we'll all have one- a horrible neighbor; if you've never had one, then I hate to say this, but it's probably you; you little noise maker.

Chances are you aren't as crotchity as the person who was so disturbed by the sound of an adorable child playing outside that they left the most ridiculous letter in the neighbor's mailbox.

This letter was stuffed into a person's mailbox in Arizona. How would you respond?

Is this person for real? Who doesn't love the sound of kids giggling and laughing?

How would you respond to this? I personally would send a letter back, using the same verbiage but put dogs and birds in where they put "your small child":

Dear Neighbor:

I moved into the neighborhood a year ago and I wanted to give you time to correct this problem on your own, but you're apparently too inconsiderate to do so. Every day, when I let my child play outside your dogs won't stop barking and it startles him; and maybe you could move your bird away from your window because every morning when it chirps, it wakes me up. Perhaps you could just move your house altogether so it no longer looks over my backyard or at least train your dogs how to use your living room and bathroom so my child can go outside and play without fear of your dogs barking. If this kind of behavior from your dogs and bird continues, I will call the police.

Have a nice day.

What do you think? A little too passive aggressive?
