New Golf Trend Sweeping the Nation is Coming to Rockford

Golf is about to get a whole lot easier.

Thank goodness; because if you're anything like me, you don't play golf because the hole is just too dang small. Well that and I'm not sure I have enough energy to play 18 holes these days. Maybe grab three of my best friends and play "best ball" and include plenty of beer.

"Best Ball" doesn't even matter now that Big Cup Golf is coming to Elliot's Golf Course in Rockford. Starting May 1st, golfers can play with 15-inch cups, as opposed to the normal 4.25 inch normal golf cups. Swiiiing.

There is one small detail- Big Cup golf will only be offered after 2 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Plus, 97ZOK will be there every Friday from 5-7 through July 17th.
