New Group in Loves Park Connects Parents and Children During the Summer Months

Summers can be crazy busy for parent, and I'm not talking about busy with work, household chores and errand running, I'm talking about busy with looking after the kids; especially the tiny tots. Keeping them entertained is a job in itself; they have endless energy that can't be matched and you have just enough to find a way to keep them occupied.

If you find yourself on a panic-filled quest each morning to come up with a day filled with activities that will keep you from hearing those dreadful whines and words, "I'm boooored", you can at least take comfort in knowing that for a couple Wednesdays out of each month you've already got something on the "kiddie-do-list" with a new group for kids and parents in Loves Park.

According to WREX, 'Moms and Tots' is a great way for you to do something fun with your child while getting to interact with other parents. The group meets every other Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; and while the name suggests that the group is for moms, anyone who cares for babies and toddlers is welcome.

The next meeting is June 29 at Grace Lutheran Church in Loves Park. Typically, the group is for kids from infancy to 4 but all children are welcome in the summer.
