New Man At the Desk: Colin Jost

Seth Meyers is moving to his very own nightly show on NBC in February which leaves a spot open at the Weekend Update desk. Now at first, I was thinking that they'd let Cecily Strong fly solo, but seeing that she's only been (wo)manning the anchor desk for a few months, I get it, we need a guy in there. Enter: Colin Jost.

He already took over for Seth as head writer and now he's taking the update chair too.

Obviously I needed to check him out for myself. Here are some Colin Jost clips, what do you think?

The verdict's still out for me. I dunno if he can replace sparkly smiling Seth Meyers. We'll see.
