New Non-Stop Destination Announced At O'Hare

A short drive down I-90 could get you on a direct flight to Africa beginning June 2, 2018. Chicago Department of Aviation and Ethiopian Airlines made the announcement yesterday which is something new for O'Hare. In the announcement,

The addition of this new service represents the first-ever direct scheduled passenger service between Chicago and Africa, and the eighth new international service to Chicago that is planned to launch in 2018.

Flights departing Chicago will occur Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday; arriving Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
