It's a jungle out there, and not just figuratively, but literally. That African safari that you've always wanted to go on after seeing The Lion King is about to come to reality, minus the huge expense of traveling to the Serengeti or Tanzania.

Prepare yourself, because soon you'll be able to hop in a tour wagon in your khaki cotton twill jumper, safari hat and binoculars as you roll through the beautiful grasslands of Bloomfield, Wisconsin.

According to NBC Chicago, a new safari park is set to open August 1st in Bloomfield Township, which is just 5 miles southeast of downtown Lake Geneva. Owner, Jay Christie, says Safari Lake Geneva will open with 70 animals including camels, bison, zebras, antelope and llamas and the hope is to get 150 that will roam freely throughout the 75-acre park.

Some things are still in the works, like admission prices, but the park will be open to park visitors 7 days a week.
