A brand new study shows that there is an ideal age in our lives to get married.

Family and friends like to gather around and ask single people when they're going to get married. Those single people now have an answer.

There have been those who say if you rush into a marriage your bound to get divorced, and others who say if you wait to long looking for someone you might be looking forever.

But now there's a study that supports the most ideal age to get married. Research shows that if you get married between the age of 28 and 32 you have a better chance of staying together longer than five years. The data accrued also shows "that divorce risk is lowest for those marrying around age 30."

When you think about it, that really is the sweet spot in life too. Those ages are when men and women generally know what their work career will be like, they also earn a bit more money and start thinking about life in the long term.

This is just research though, and obviously every situation is different. According to Time, "sociologists formerly believed that waiting longer to get hitched usually led to more stability, and there was no real sell-by date."
