One Rockford Retailer Expects New Shipment Of Hatchimals In Time For Holidays

The hottest toy of the holidays are Hatchimals. Plenty of Rockford area kids are expecting to get their hands on 'em, but will they get the chance?

Parents searching high and low trying to find the popular gift but aren't having much luck.

A couple of calls to Walmart locations in the Rockford area haven't provided anymore context regarding the scarcity of Hatchimals other than "we get trucks everyday."

According to Walmart:

"Hatchimals is an absolute hit with our customers. We’re working quickly to secure more of the prized eggs to ensure they under the tree ready to hatch on Christmas morning.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find your local Walmart stores on the current schedule."

A call to customer service at Toy R Us on E. State was also very non-committal about a possible Hatchimal truck coming to Rockford.

However, there appears to be one store that is getting out in front of the Hatchimal madness and it's Target.

Target says that Hatchimals will start showing up on store shelves this Sunday, December 11. They will be priced at $59.99 and will have a two Hatchimal limit but at this point, most parents will take what they can get.

No word on what time they will be put out, but it might be best to start camping out now.
