Over 100 Applebee’s and IHOP Restaurants Are Set To Close
Bad news for chain restaurants as Applebee's and IHOP announced closures.
It's never good when you hear of restaurants closing, especially such popular chains like Applebee's and IHOP.
Or at least, I thought.
Turns out Applebee's and IHOP were going to close up to 60 locations but that number has increased to at least 135 spots according to ABC 7.
DineEquity owns the restaurants and released a statement saying, 'We are investing in the empowerment of our brands by improving overall franchisee financial health, closing under-performing restaurants and enhancing the supply chain.'
The specific locations have not been released yet so our fingers are crossed that this won't affect our favorite Applebee's or IHOP restaurants.
