Owners of 'Today's Best' award-winner, Rookie's Pub & Grill in Rockton, just opened a new spot in Roscoe with amazing food and an enormous beer selection.

Beer fans are rejoicing over Louie's Tap House at 5689 Elevator Rd. in Roscoe, Illinois. While Louie's serves breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week, it's the beer that has everyone so excited as Spring approaches. Take a look at this beer menu, it's unreal.

If you're not a big beer fan, no worries, the menu at Louie's is not your average greasy bar food. Good lord, I feel a food coma coming.

  • Tator Tot nachos with an aged cheddar fondue and chorizo
  • Smoked Salmon salad with garden greens, arugula, cucumber, bacon lardons, toasted hazelnut, goat cheese, honey dijon vinaigrette
  • The Lou Dog, an all beef frank with chorizo, aged cheddar fondue, pickled jalapeños on a poppy bun
  • Apple Bourbon Brined Pork Chop with grilled apple chutney, maple glazed carrots and roasted potatoes

The prices are good and it's family-friendly too. With slots, live music, shuffleboard, darts, old school games and a 140″ video wall, it won't be tough to find big fun at Louie's Tap House any night of the week. Here's their current schedule of events.
