I'm very excited because one of my favorite snack foods from my childhood is coming back to Rockford.

I would like to personally give Mr. Peanut a high five.

According to chicago.suntimes.com,

"Thanks to fans of the classic snack, who started petitions and wrote letters to Planters, the company is bringing back Cheez Balls and Cheez Curls for a limited time returning to grocery stores in July."

They have been off the market for over twelve years.

Growing up, my friends liked coming over to our house because my Mom would buy snacks for us to eat. Most of their families didn't have any.

At my house, the kitchen was always stocked with frozen pizza, a pitcher of Kool-Aid, 2-liters of generic soda, a box of Twinkies, and a can of Planters Cheez Balls.

The Cheez Balls were definitely a favorite.

Many of my buddies went home with a bellyache from eating too many treats because they didn't have them at their homes.

I was very disappointed when they decided to take them off the market so this is good news in the world of snacks.

If you don't remember Cheez Balls, check them out HERE.

Don't forget to enjoy them in moderation.
