A recent trend in food might have gone too far this time.  It's becoming a thing to combine food flavors even if they make absolutely no sense together.  From pickle flavored vodka to spicy ice cream, where do we draw line? I guess the line is just past peanut flavored beer. Yep, you read that right.

Calling all nut and beer lovers, your two favorites have finally joined forces.  And you know you want to try it.

Planters is taking its turn dabbling in the brewing game.  Not only that, they're pairing up with an Illinois Brewery to make it all happen! So what're they going to call this mash-up? Drumroll please ...

Mr. IPA-Nut.

Punny, simple, but will it taste good is the real question?  The flavor has been described as follows -

Mr. IPA-Nut has a unique citrus aroma with a hint of honey-roasted peanuts followed by a slightly salty finish. We took their Honey Roasted Peanuts and made a great IPA that highlights both hops and peanuts.

Starting October 27 you can pick up a 4-pack at these Illinois stores and The Noon Whistle Brewery.

This whole thing just sounds... nuts.  Sorry, I couldn't do this without a nut pun.
