When you need to learn how to shoot a 3-pointer, might as well learn from a guy in the NBA.

This Friday night, I'll be trying my best in the 'Celebrity 3-Point Contest,' at the Fred VanVleet Fan Fest at the UW Health Sports Factory.

When the guys from Go Rockford asked me to be in the contest, I was like, yes, I'd love to! Then I remembered I'm 5'4'... and I asked if there was any way that I could get a lesson first.

Enter Fred VanVleet. You know him... former Auburn Knights star, bball stud from Wichita State, and oh yeah, he plays for the Toronto Raptors in the NBA.

Not only did Fred teach me how to shoot a 3-pointer, he answered my silly questions, and in case you were wondering, Fred VanVleet has no favorite color.

I maybe pulled a muscle learning to shoot, but I promise I'll recover by Friday. Tickets are still available for the Fan Fest for $5.

Huge thanks to Fred VanVleet for giving me his NBA tips!

If you want to teach me how to do something, just let me know on Facebook, on Twitter or on YouTube.
