Police Searching For Suspect After Attempted Robbery At Popular Rockford Coffee Shop
Rockford Police are looking for a woman suspected of robbing a popular coffee shop yesterday.
The suspect walked into Wired Cafe at 414 East State on Monday afternoon implying she was armed and demanded money from the cash register, the suspect later escaped on foot.
According to Wired Cafe on Instagram, "The suspect was described as a white female, 5’0” between 120-140 pounds, about 50 years of age, blond hair wearing a dark gray sweatshirt, and jeans."
Rockford Police Department asks anyone who might recognize the woman in the photo to call 779.500.6551 or Crime Stoppers at 815.963.7867.
