Popular Rockford Soul Food Restaurant Suddenly Closes

A super popular soul food restaurant has suddenly shuttered.

Don't worry, the reason for the closure sounds like good news.

LaCressia's Taste of Soul, 3206 South Alpine Road, posted a quick note today to their Facebook page saying:

In preparation for the move to our new location, we have closed the doors at our Alpine Rd. location. We will be opening at 330 College Ave. in early October! We are excited to offer a better sit-down dining experience and breakfast as well! Stay tuned to our page for more updates as we prepare to open our new location!

This can only mean good things for LaCressia and her restaurant. It means bigger and better for anyone who's tried her signature brand of soul food.
