The Cubs won the World Series last year, and let's be honest here, their players are in high demand.

And by "high demand" I mean many of their players could probably find someone interested in them strictly because they play for the Cubs.

That's why this story about Cubs catcher Willson Contreras attempting to get former porn star Mia Khalifa's attention on Twitter so surprising.

Khalifa, who has a history of calling out thirsty athletes by posting their failed attempts to get her attention on Twitter, did the same thing to Contreras earlier this week.

The real question here is why just why would Contreras do this especially when he A. could find someone else and B. know Khalifa's penchant for calling out dudes on Twitter.

Some guys never learn. I'll cut him some slack though. You see, Contreras can't play baseball at the moment. So maybe he was bored. After the public dressing down he received on Twitter from Khalifa, he'll want to get back to baseball real quick.
