Prince Memorial Film Festival to be Held in Rockford

For weeks, and yes I mean weeks, I've been sorting through photos, videos and tributes to Prince from all of my friends on Facebook and the FOMO is really getting to me; but right now, I just don't have the means or the time to travel all the way there to pay my respects. Sad face.

But that's ok, because while we'll have to wait a couple of months, it looks like I won't have to and neither will you. Prince fans in Rockford will now be able to celebrate the life of Prince with a memorial film festival at The Nordlof Center.

The Facebook invite says:

"Come help us celebrate the life and works of one of the most influential artists of our time! PRINCE!"

The event is free to the public and the doors open at 12:30.  The movies and times are as follows:

1pm - Under the Cherry Moon
3pm - Purple Rain
5pm - Graffiti Bridge
