With NFL season finally here and the first preseason game played, it's time to remind ourselves of a VERY important change that's in place for Chicago Bear's games.

I would hope that no matter what you bring your phone to a Bear's game, but it turns out it's EXTRA important you have that smart phone. The team is reminding fans that all entry to home games will require mobile-only tickets.

You can manage your tickets by downloading the Chicago Bears Official App brought to you by Verizon, where you can also find breaking news, play-by-play updates, and coverage of the latest press conferences and interviews. If you already have the app, make sure that you have downloaded the most recent update. Mobile tickets can also be viewed at chicagobears.com/sth on a mobile browser.

So does this mean if you print out your ticker or have a paper copy it won't be accepted? Yes. You NEED a mobile version. Why the change? Bear's website explains -

This change allows ticket holders to manage, transfer or sell tickets, and will help reduce the instances of lost or counterfeited tickets.

If you need help on game day, visit the ticket booth located in the SE corner of Soldier Field. Have a valid ID of the name on the account.

So don't forget this when you're getting ready for your next Bear's game.
