It's probably hard to imagine right now, simply because Americans have only been allowed to travel to Cuba for about a month now, but I want you to picture laying on a white sandy beach with a fruity rum drink in hand; you're staring off into a picturesque landscape filled with rolling mountains and the sounds of salsa music can be heard off in the distance. There's little to no access to the internet so no phone calls from the kids and no pesky work emails either; that's just an idea of the many things you'll experience when you travel to Cuba.

You can also expect a trip that takes you back in time as you walk down colorful streets filled with American cars from the 40s and 50s and casually dressed locals who are just as curious about you as you are about them and their country.

If you're ready for a unique travel experience, Cuba should be at the top of your bucket list and travel to Havana, Cuba could get a whole lot easier but, the Rockford Airport needs your feedback.

According to WIFR, an airline is interested in the possibility of starting a twice a week service to Havana and a survey is being conducted to garner interest. Interested?
