After a postponement due to production delays, Rihanna finally kicked off her highly anticipated Anti Tour in Jacksonville, Fla., on Saturday (March 12).

According to The Florida Times-Union, the sold-out event at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena went off without a hitch and it was full of unexpected surprises for her dedicated fans.

RiRi’s stage show came equipped with a giant video screen, a flying bridge and a Army, rather a Navy, of acrobatic backup dancers.

Rihanna opened the show by walking out on a small stage wearing only a hooded robe to the somber piano intro to "Stay." By the time she made her way to the main stage, she took off her robe and was joined by four female dancers for a seductive rendition of “Birthday Cake.”

During her two-hour show, the Bajan beauty performed several of her chart-topping hits including “Umbrella,” “We Found Love,” “Diamonds,” “Bitch Better Have My Money,” "FourFiveSeconds" and others. But most of her fans wanted to see Rihanna sing tunes from her latest effort, Anti, and she obliged them. In fact, she almost performed every song on the album, including her smash hit “Work,” “Kiss It Better,” “Woo” and "Love on the Brain."

Not only was her performance exciting, but Rihanna's half-dozen outfit changes were dazzling as well. The 28-year-old singer's costumes consists of hooded robes, thigh-high boots, a see-through black hooded negligee, a tan-colored suit (which revealed her bra top) and more.

The only real disappointment was the opening act Travis $cott, who had audible problems because his equipment was delayed in another city and he wasn’t visible to the audience.

Overall, Rihanna’s tour opener was a complete success. Afterward, she thanked the Jacksonville audience for their continued support.

“Thank you guys so much for your support,” she told the roaring crowd. “I can not thank you enough. It feels good. 'Cause y'all spending money. So y'all ain't doing that shit unnecessarily, y'all really have to love some shit. So thank you, I appreciate that, it means a lot."
