Rockford Among Least Expensive Places to Buy A House in the U.S.
The National Association of Realtors has released the latest list of the most expensive and least expensive cities to buy a house in the United States and Rockford has landed on one of them.
Rockford is the second least expensive city in the country to buy a home, with the average cost per home of $85,300. Falling in second only to Warren, Ohio, with average home prices of $78,600.
The rest of the top five least expensive cities list includes Elmira, NY; Decatur, IL; and Toledo, Ohio.
They've also given us the list of most expensive cities in the country to own a home:
- San Jose, California -$899,500
- San Francisco, California - $769,600
- Anaheim, California - $691,900
- Honolulu, Hawaii - $678,500
- San Diego, California - $504,200
