Rockford Gets a New Restaurant and the Name is Perfect

According to the story I read on rrstar.com, the new Asian fusion eatery had their soft opening on March 15th.

Rock Pho'd is owned by Souky and Bonnie Langsy and can be found at 6551 E. Riverside Blvd.

On the eatery's Facebook page they've offered this greeting to their customers:

“We would like to thank everyone that has stopped in to support them and their dream that has turned into a reality...opening up their own restaurant!”

Rock Pho'd menu is inspired by Laotian, Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese flavors. They also plan on added more items to their menu before their grand opening planned for early summer.

As of right now you can see their soft opening menu on their Facebook page. It features favorites like crab rangoon, spring rolls, and chicken satay as appetizers. Along with entrees that include pho soup, fried rice, and BBQ spare ribs. As of March 29th they've added beef jerky with sticky rice and tomato sauce.

Anyone else hungry yet? I have family coming to visit in a couple of weeks, I'm thinking we might have to stop in for some Rock Pho'd goodness.
