A Chicago man was charged with multiple drug charges Sunday after being arrested in the 1400 block of Garden Court.

According to the Rockford Police Department, officers began receiving complaints and information two weeks ago about narcotics being sold at the residence in Blackhawk Courts.

On Sunday, officers executed a search warrant at the residence and allegedly found crack cocaine and other items associated with drug trafficking.

Arrested was Roosevelt Washington, 27, of Chicago. he was charged with possession with the intent to deliver more than 1 gram of cocaine but less than 15 grams, possession with the intent to deliver more than 2.5 grams of cannabis, but less than 10 grams, possession of a firearm with no FOID card and attempted obstructing identification.

Washington also allegedly had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in Winnebago County.
