Rockford Teen Shares Scary Experience at Five Below

It saddens me to the core that society these days is turning into a very scary place. It's not just Rockford. Terrifying and heartbreaking stories surface every day from places all around the World, and it makes me feel guilty as a parent that my girls will have to grow up in a constant state of caution and fear.

Yesterday I saw several people sharing a Rockford mom's post about a terrifying incident that happened to her daughter at Five Below on East State over the weekend, and it left me with a sick feeling in my stomach. It's incredibly disturbing that we have to constantly warn women to always be aware of their surroundings because of situations just like this...especially when they happen in our hometown.

Sadly, situations like this are real. Please share this warning with every woman you know so they are on alert and stay safe.
