Rockford’s First ‘Clear the Shelters’ Event Was a Huge Success

On Saturday Winnebago County Animal Services in Rockford participated in the nationwide Clear The Shelters event by offering waived adoption fees on all their adoptable pets. So the big question now is, did Rockford step up to help these animals in need? I think these pictures speak a thousand words...

We may not have completely cleared the shelter's cages, but I'm so happy that 50 animals found forever homes on Saturday! Way to go, Rockford!!
