Scared of Spiders? Then You’ll Want to Skip this New Ride at Six Flags

Call me a wuss if you want to, but I will not be going on this ride.

Have you ever put on a pair of virtual reality goggles before? That experience by itself is all you need to get a good thrill, for real; but adding that to a giant drop? No way. Just thinking about it makes my stomach turn.

Six Flags says,

As if the moments you wait to drop 22 stories above the ground weren't frightening enough, imagine feeling as though you are 100 stories up... covered in mutant spiders! Strap on your Samsung Gear VR powered by Oculus and be transported to a whole new place. This Virtual Reality experience is unlike any other as you battle to save yourself and those around you from mutants who aim to bring your futuristic city to rubble. Prepare for a high-intensity gun battle while the world around you zips by during your 100 story descent. Will you keep your cool long enough to bring peace to the city?

You also need to be at least 13 years old to ride this ride.

ABC 7 Chicago says the ride opens April 29th.
