ServiCom Call Center In Machesney Park Suddenly Closes

Imagine coming to work only to be told "today's the last day, not only for you but for everyone" because the company's closing up shop.

That's exactly what happened yesterday when employees at ServiCom at 9942 North Alpine Road where employees of the call center "were met at the door and sent home" according to Eyewitness News.

WREX says employees "were paid late the past four pay cycles. On Thursday, the company told them they did not know when their next paychecks would come."

ServiCom filed Chapter 11 on October 19, 2018.
