If someone asked you to describe a typical late afternoon or evening at your house, what would it sound like? Surely it's chaos from the minute the kids get off the bus. Between soccer games, dance practices, dinner and bath time, you barely have time to think; let alone have the desire to do much else...like help your kids with their homework.  Heck, this day in age, you're not even sure you're capable.

This is where having a really great teacher at your kid's school comes in handy; one like Mrs. Brandy Young from North Texas.  According to Fox 32 Chicago, Mrs. Young came up with a new homework policy that has earned her straight A's from parents across the country.

Every parent who has a kid who cries so hard that they make themselves sick whenever they have to do homework is so jealous right now; am I right?

What do you think of this policy and would it be helpful for RPS 205 teachers to implement something similar? Or maybe you'll change your perspective on how you feel about making your own child do homework and let your teacher's know that you've decided that dinner with the family and an early bed time are more important..? Either way, this is pretty awesome and hopefully the idea catches on.
