While Police and first responders are grieving over the loss of Officer Jaimie Cox, an anonymous Police Officer’s wife has a simple way to support the men and women in blue. This also an alternative to using a blue light if you’re unable to find any.

Through a friend, an anonymous wife of a Rockford Police officer suggested her friend spread the word on putting a blue ribbon in your yard. Her idea is to attach a blue ribbon to your mailbox. Don’t have a mailbox? How about lamppost or railing on your property?
