A Rockford store that is known for selling unique sports memorabilia is closing its doors.

When the Chicago Cubs won the World Series, the first place I went to get t-shirts and other World Champion merchandise was GQ Sports in Rockford.

The time I got to meet Hall of Fame Chicago Bear, Brian Urlacher, and many other famous athletes was at GQ Sports.

If I needed a gift for a sports fan, I would immediately head over to GQ Sports.

Soon, that option won't be available.

Gary Larson, the owner of GQ Sports, posted on his Facebook page that he will be closing the store. He's a great guy who is a passionate Chicago sports fan.

There is also a post on Rockford Craigslist. Check it out right HERE.

They are having a big sale on merchandise. Display cases are available for purchase too.

Stop out and see him before they are gone for good.

Good luck to Gary in his next adventure.
