The new Starbucks holiday latte will join my favorite, the peppermint mocha, and the gingerbread latte, which I will never order.

Will I order the new latte? Hmm... probably not. Does Chestnut Praline sound good to you?

This is the first time in five years that Starbucks is adding a new flavor to the holiday latte line-up, which of course will come in the cheery red cups.

Praline sounds like delicious creamy ice cream so I'm up for that but chestnut? That's such a foreign flavor to me, I'm not sure I will spend $5 on something I'm unsure of. But, I have a pretty good feeling my mom will while we're Christmas shopping. So when that day comes, I'll let you know how it tastes.

You can get your hands on the newbie starting November 12, which I think means I get my peppermint mocha that day, too! I'm starting a countdown.

Here's a big surprise. Well, that was sarcastic... I meant, no surprise at all. There's not real chestnuts in the drink, so if you have a nut allergy you can still enjoy the CPL. Yep, they already have an abbreviation. #CPLvsPSL coming soon to Twitter for sure.
